Global Youth Services Day (GYSD)
Global Youth Service Day is an annual campaign that celebrates and mobilizes the millions of children and youth who improve their communities each day of the year through service and service-learning. Established in 1988, Global Youth Service Day is the largest service event in the world, and the only day of service dedicated to children and youth. GYSD is celebrated each year in over 100 countries. SUNFO is the National Lead Agency and Country Partner for GYSD in Sri Lanka since 2005
SUNFO is the Focal Point in Sri Lanka for the World Campaign for in-depth Reform of the System of the United Nations and other International Institutions since December,2007
CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation
CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizen Participation is an international alliance of members and partners which constitutes an influential network of organisations at the local, national, regional and international levels, and spans the spectrum of civil society. UNITED NATIONS Office on Drugs and Crimes(UNODC):
UNODC is a global leader in the fight against illicit drugs and international crime. Established in 1997 through a merger between the United Nations Drug Control Programme and the Centre for International Crime Prevention, UNODC operates in all regions of the world through an extensive network of field offices. SUNFO is a member and have represented Asia dialogues.
