Over 7000 persons visited SUNFO-Playmobil Exhibition and Convention

in Vendenheim City on 4-5 June, 2011

“Playmobil Convention and SUNFO Exhibition” was held at the City Hall, Cultural and Sports Center Complex at Vendenheim City, Strasbourg, France from 4-5 June, 2011. Over 3000 adults and over 4000 children and students have visited the exhibition in two days. Exhibition and Convention was declared open by Vice President of Strasbourg His Worship Henri Bronner on June 4. SUNFO Director General Dr.Deshapriya S. Wijetunge and Playmobil World  Chairman Mr.D.Vincent also addressed the opening Ceremony participated by Deputy Mayor, Councilors and distinguished invittees.

At the exhibition Playmobil presented the famous SECESSION WAR which is created  a new world record. For this creation 18206 items have been used, jointly by 40 playmobil collectors> They have worked 4 days to make this SECESSION WAR replays.

The income from the exhibition will  be used  for the infrastructural development of the SUNFO-Vendenheim Center in Sri Lanka as a generous donation of the Mayor, Council and people of Vendenheim City. The event has been well covered by the International Media
